TEACHERS AT HJIS:

– Improve curriculum through a process of reflection, alignment, and collaboration with Heads of Department, Pedagogical Leadership Team, Grade Level Teams, parents, students and community.

POSSIBLE DUTIES AT HJIS:

– IB Project (eg. Personal Project or Extended Essay) supervisions
– Supervision of student service projects and/or clubs
– Office Hours
– Advisory system
– Active supervision of students
– Participation and/or organization of school events, field trips and Expedition Weeks
– Substitution, as necessary

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Teaching Experience
– 3+ years of teaching experience with secondary learners
– Bachelor’s degree in education or related subject
– Teacher’s certificate
– (Preferred) Knowledge and understanding of the IB MYP and DP frameworks
– (Preferred) Experience working in an international school

Digital Literacy and Technology Skills
– Google suite
– Zoom
– Managebac
– Smartboard technology
– Apple products (e.g. Macbooks, iMacs)

Working Hours Working Days
8:00am – 4:30pm Monday-Friday
